Outpatient physiotherapy
Our Outpatient Physiotherapy service provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of clinical conditions, including ACL rehabilitation, Hydrotherapy, Lower Limb Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and more.

Occupational therapy

Inpatient therapy
Our Inpatient Therapy service treats patients who are staying in hospital and the team works closely with other healthcare and social services to provide ongoing support in the community.

How to get a referral
You can be referred to our outpatient departments by your GP, hospital consultants or other health professionals such as specialist nurses and occupational therapists.
If you are an inpatient, the physiotherapist who will see you on the ward may refer you for further treatment after you have been discharged from hospital.
Facilities available
Our Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy departments feature two gyms, a hydrotherapy pool and activities of daily living rehabilitation facilities.

In addition, the Stroke Unit (Beech Ward) has a gym and kitchen facility within the ward. An additional gym for inpatient rehabilitation is located on the second floor of the Riverside building.
