A new, dedicated £750,000 health facility that will help manage the demand for emergency services and winter pressures has been officially opened at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Greenwich. The new “ambulatory care unit” has been developed as part of a major emergency care improvement programme by Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust
The Fracture Clinic at Queen Elizabeth hospital (QEH) has raised £510 through a bric-a-brac stall for the Macmillan Brook Unit, QEH, to support patients and families through their cancer journey.
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust was formed on 1 October 2013.
The Trust is responsible for services at Lewisham Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich, as well as a range of NHS community services in Lewisham and some services at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
