Your NHS App
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (LGT) is leading the way with NHS app integration and we are committed to giving our patients the best NHS app experience available.
For example, thanks to our work with our patient portal partners DrDoctor, LGT patients can complete digital assessments, view digital outpatient and radiology letters, request that their ENT, Dermatology and Rheumatology appointments are rescheduled, view hospital appointment details and get appointment reminder notifications – all within the NHS app.
Even more exciting functionality is planned for developing NHS App integration further – e.g. adding radiology appointments into the NHS app, making more kinds of appointments available to be rescheduled using the app, adding surgical appointment information and much more!
We encourage patients to download and use the NHS App wherever possible – visit the NHS website to learn more about installing and using the app.
You can also use the app to update your contact details, so that we have an up to date mobile phone number and address for you. You can also update your contact details directly with us by calling 020 8333 3216.

How do I view my appointment letters, with or without the NHS App?
You can view appointment letters for hospital and radiology appointments on the NHS App or using the DrDoctor website. You will soon be able to view community appointment letters too.
NHS App: If you have the NHS App, when you have a new appointment letter, you will receive a notification by text or email. Follow the link in the notification to the messages area of the NHS App and select “Read the Letter,” following the prompts.
DrDoctor: Patients can view appointment information and appointment letters without the NHS App. When a new letter is available to view, you will receive an SMS text message from 07860 039092 or an email from no-reply@drdoctor.co.uk Follow the secure link to your letter. You will have to authenticate your last name, date of birth and postcode. You can also view your digital letter on any computer or laptop by going to the DrDoctor website and authenticating your details.
Why am I receiving a text message from an unknown phone number?
Lewisham Greenwich NHS Trust sends SMS text messages from the phone number 07860 039092. We are using the DrDoctor platform to communicate with you about your appointments and to make it easy to view your appointment letters.
Why am I receiving an email from no-reply@drdoctor.co.uk?
If you have chosen to receive appointment notifications via email, you will get messages from no- reply@drdoctor.co.uk.
I would prefer to receive a paper copy of my letter. What should I do?
If you would prefer to receive a paper version of your Outpatient appointment letter you will not need to do anything. All letters will be posted to patients if unread after three days.
