SERVICE

Sunday 13 October 2024, 3pm

The Old Royal Naval College Chapel

King William Walk

Greenwich, SE10 9NN

Forget-me-not is an annual service to commemorate all children and babies who have died during pregnancy or after their birth. It's a non-religious sharing of grief and chance to celebrate the all-too-short lives of those lost children, and will feature music, readings and much more.

Anyone who has been affected by the death of a child or a baby is welcome.

This year, we will also be raising funds to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week, via a ringfenced baby loss fund in our Trust Charity. Colleagues, patients, friends and those who have sadly lost young loved ones will band together outside the Old Royal Naval College Chapel from 2pm, ahead of the 3pm ceremony.

Walkers will be raising funds for our Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity and these funds will be ringfenced so they can be spent on supporting our hard-working bereavement teams. We'd love to see as many people as possible there to support us and encourage walkers to wear blues and pinks should they wish to do so.

At the service, we will be joined as ever by the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir who will be performing some beautiful songs – as will our friends at the Croydon Gospel Choir. The service, which begins at 3pm, is for all religions and none and there will be readings and other acts of remembrance. It's a truly poignant and ultimately uplifting occasion — please do join us if you are able.
