Relaunch of the LGT Clinical Academy on Monday 30 June
We are excited to announce the relaunch of the LGT Clinical Academy, now in a brand-new, dedicated space at our Catford office.
This refreshed hub is dedicated to empowering colleagues across LGT with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver the highest quality patient care. Our mission is to provide bespoke, high-quality, peer-reviewed teaching, delivered by clinical experts.
What we offer
The Clinical Academy currently hosts 20 accredited courses across a wide range of clinical specialisms, some of which are first-of-their-kind in London and even the UK.
Our courses support:
- Nurses and Nursing Associates
- Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs)
- Midwives
- Allied Health Professionals (AHPs)
- Trainee and qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs)
We cater to all colleagues from band 2 to band 8, offering not just education, but academic and wellbeing support via:
- A comprehensive Moodle platform
- Group and one-to-one academic workshops
- Tailored support from Trust services such as the LGT Library
To ensure quality and fairness, we’ve introduced robust processes and standard operating procedures for both students and teaching staff.
