Your local Healthwatch

Healthwatch represents the views of people who use health services, their carers and the public.

As well as seeking the public’s views, they encourage services to involve people in decisions that affect them. Their sole purpose is to help make care better for people.

They also provide information about local health and social care services.

The Healthwatch network has two parts:
  •       Healthwatch England is the national organisation
  •       Local Healthwatch works in local communities
They have the power to ensure that people’s voices are heard by the government and those running services.
