Orthotics

The Orthotics Service or Surgical Appliances as it is often referred to, is the supply and fitting of an externally applied device used to modify the structural and functional characteristics of the neuro-muscular and skeletal system.

The principle orthotic services involve the supply and fitting of orthopaedic footwear, insoles and a range of ankle/foot orthoses, splints, surgical collars and specialist support/compression stockings. The service also supplies and fits a range of breast prosthesis and wigs.
