Open Access Clinics

Please note that unfortunately due to Covid-19 we are not currently running any drop-in clinics or wellbeing walks. We hope to get them back up and running as soon as it is safe to do so.

We run a weekly clinic for all patients who have been diagnosed with cancer to offer general advice and information. It is led by specialist clinicians including clinical nurse specialists, Macmillan dieticians and members of the Macmillan Advice and Guidance Service (MAGS) team.

The clinic offers information and advice on the following:

  • Overview of cancer and treatments
  • What to expect and who to contact
  • Support available through treatment
  • Fatigue management
  • Physical activity and diet
  • Information on how to access benefits advice
  • Emotional wellbeing.

You are welcome to bring someone along with you. Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival and during a refreshment break.

When: Fridays 10am - 12 noon
Location: University Hospital Lewisham, Suite 8, 1st Floor, Pink Zone (click to view map)
