About the service
Our sexual health clinics are dedicated to testing and treating a wide range of sexual health conditions led by specialist medical teams.
Services offered include:
- Tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Genital warts treatment including cryotherapy
- HIV testing
- Services for young people
- Emergency hormonal contraception
- PEP (post exposure prophylaxis)+
- PrEP (pre exposure prophylaxis)
- Vaccinations
- Genital skin care and advice
- Psychosexual services are available by referral only
- Complex contraception, including deep implant removal, is available by referral only
Please note we do not offer cervical smears - please contact your GP if you need to have this done.

- Monday and Tuesday: 10am-7pm
- Wednesday: 2pm-7pm
- Thursday: 10am-7pm
Closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays

How we can help
We offer the following services at our Hawstead Road walk-in clinic:
- Treatment for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, herpes and warts
- Contraception including coil and implant insertions and removals and depo injections
- Treatment and testing for contacts of infection with no symptoms
- Provision of PEPSE

How our walk-ins work
Please be aware that the walk-in operates on a first come, first served basis and that we will operate a slot-system. This means, after you book in, you may be asked to return later in the day.
We run this system to reduce your waiting time in the clinic. Walk-in slots are dependent on our capacity and not available to booking by phone.
We still offer a limited number of pre-bookable appointments online. Click ‘book now’ below to search for and book an appointment with us.
Saturday will remain an appointment-only clinic which you can book with us via telephone. Appointment slots for this service will be made available from Thursday each week.
If there are no appointments available, please try again later. Appointments are released 24 hours in advance between 9.30 - 10am.
