We are reintroducing mask wearing at our hospitals and community settings
Rising levels of Covid in our local communities are leading to increased numbers of patients with Covid attending our hospitals. In addition, staff absence is increasing because of Covid, which is putting pressure on our services.
For this reason we are now asking patients, visitors and staff to wear a face covering when coming to our hospitals and our healthcare settings in the community.
To keep our patients and staff safe, everyone is asked to wear a face covering in all indoor areas of our hospitals. We understand that a few people may have a medical reason or special communication need that means they are unable to wear a face covering.
