Trust charity welcomes new sponsor

We are delighted to announce the first corporate partnership with the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity. Staff at the Bexleyheath branch of Nationwide building society have chosen to support our Trust charity as their charity of the year.

Donations help Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust to buy extra equipment and fund ways to improve the experiences of patients, staff and visitors.

Martin O’Sullivan, Senior Branch Manager, explained: “Nationwide Bexleyheath are proud to be supporting the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity, as the Trust runs Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the local hospital for our community, and the staff are close to all our hearts and need our support. We’re planning on doing lots of events over the next 15 months as well as volunteering. Our ideas at this stage include cycling a marathon in our banking hall and a team event to raise money.”

Kate Anderson, Director of Corporate Affairs said: “We would like to thank Nationwide Bexleyheath for choosing to support us as their local hospital. This follows the fantastic support from local businesses and individuals we have received over recent months. We are so pleased to welcome Nationwide as our first corporate charity sponsor and look forward to working with local Nationwide staff to make a real difference to the one million patients that we treat every year in our hospitals and community services.”
