Trust Charity Christmas Appeal

Thanks to your generosity and support for the Christmas Appeal, the Trust Charity was able to give gifts to patients at University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Christmas.

The Trust Charity provided toys for our young patients who were too ill to go home for the festive break, as well as winter clothing for our vulnerable patients whose relatives could not bring in warm clothes for when they went home.

Margarita Vidiella, Head of Charity, explained: “Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Christmas Appeal and to the organisations and individuals who provided gifts for our young patients. This year, we were able to raise £904 and received a large number of toy donations thanks to this campaign. We are incredibly appreciative of the support from our wonderful local communities and amazing Trust staff. These appeals make a huge difference to our patients during this extremely challenging time and cost-of-living crisis.”

This wintry weather is the perfect reminder that you can continue to donate to the Trust Charity to support the purchase of winter clothing for our vulnerable patients. When making your donation please add a comment that you would like to support the purchase of winter clothing.
