Refurbishment works in maternity unit at UHL
Dear expectant parents,
As part of our continued programme to improve the environment at our maternity unit at University Hospital Lewisham (UHL) we will commence a period of works from the 29 July 2019 until March 2020.
We are investing in our labour ward on the 3rd floor, Green Zone. We will be refurbishing the rooms to a modern high standard, providing an additional pool room, investing in the general facilities and building a new waiting area.
During this time, there may be some noise due to the refurbishment works, but we will endeavour to keep this - and any disruption to you – to a minimum. The standard of care you receive will not be affected.
