Queen Elizabeth Hospital fruit stall is getting an upgrade

The fruit stall at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) is currently being upgraded to make it a permanent fixture outside the hospital.

Hasan Er explained: “I am really pleased to say that the works have finally started on the revamp of the fruit stall, and it will be ready to open in two weeks' time. With this permanent structure it will be weatherproofed, and I’ll have a secure location to lock up the fruit at night.

The QEH fruit stall is still open for business while the building works are being done. It has moved to the front of the hospital and is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm.
