Black Maternal Mental Health Week runs from 25 September to 1 October. It’s a week dedicated to conversations insights and understanding about the mental health of Black and Brown mothers.

This year we’re delving into the theme of Breaking Cultural Barriers.

To kickstart the awareness week we are jointly hosting a webinar at 10am on Monday 25 September.

Come and hear from an impressive line-up of speakers. We’re delighted to be alongside the chief executives of The Motherhood Group and the Motivational Mums Club, as well as hearing from local voices such as Mindful Mums and Helix.

This free event is open to everyone and gives you an opportunity to learn about the local and national initiatives to raise awareness of the importance of Black maternal mental health and learn about the benefits, services and support available.

It will be of particualr interest to mothers, birthing individuals, partners and families as well as midwives, nurses, obstetricians and other healthcare professionals.
