Artwork donated to QEH for superb care

Artist Dominic Beattie donated ten abstract paintings to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) as a thank you for the fantastic care his mother received in the Oncology department. The artworks are displayed outside the entrance to the Macmillan Brook Unit, creating an uplifting and welcoming environment for our patients and staff.

Anna Matthams, Trust Arts Manager explained:  "We are incredibly grateful for these artworks being donated to us – thank you to Dominic and Renee Pfister Consultancy who helped arrange the donation. Dominic and Renee have strong ties to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It was important to both of them to give back to the hospital for the superb care they received.

Dominic Beattie is a professional artist based in London who uses his artworks to explore colour and pattern, translating a hands-on artisanal approach to craft into painting.”
