Arise Women's Health Hub

Arise - Reproductive Health Hub is a service within the Waldron Sexual Health Clinic. This service is for Lewisham residents over 16 years old and provides a culturally competent, patient-centred, and clinically safe model of care for those who require specialist management for: 

 

  • pre-conception care
  • menopause
  • menstrual disorders
  • complex cervical smears
  • contraceptive counselling
  • and provision of full range of contraception including:
    • LARC fitting for both contraceptive and gynaecological purposes
    • screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
    • and HIV-screening.

 

We also provide free community-based events on a range of reproductive health problems running at the Waldron Centre in New Cross.

You can be referred to the Arise Hub:

  1. After assessment at the sexual health clinic,

  2. Through the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust gynaecology department

  3. Via GP referrals (which will be opening soon)
