Private physiotherapy and pilates clinic
The private physiotherapy and pilates service at University Hospital Lewisham offers you a dedicated assessment, advice, treatment and rehabilitation service for a wide range of injuries and conditions.
Whether your condition is old or new, you are preparing for a sporting event, or would like to improve your day to day mobility, we can help. Our private patients’ service aims to meet the needs of our local community with an emphasis on fitness and keeping active.
Any person who has a condition that they think may benefit from physiotherapy can self-refer to our private patients' service. If you are unsure we will gladly discuss this with you over the phone and advise you if we think you need a full assessment.
We also receive referrals from GPs, consultants and most major insurance companies.
£45 for first assessment (45 minutes)
£35 for follow up session (30 minutes)
During an initial appointment a fully qualified, chartered physiotherapist will carry out a comprehensive assessment of your condition and perform a detailed physical examination. The outcome of the assessment will be explained clearly. Treatment may be started at the end of the initial assessment. This could be in the form of education about the condition, advice regarding management, or starting an exercise plan. All treatment will be discussed and agreed with the patient.
