Friends and Family Test

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help service providers and commissioners understand whether patients are happy with the service provided and where improvements are needed. It's a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving NHS care or treatment.

At Lewisham and Greenwich Trust, the views of our patients and carers are at the heart of everything we do. We welcome all feedback to help improve the care and treatment we provide.

The Friends and Family test asks just one question:

‘Overall, how was your experience of our service?’

You will be invited to respond to the question by choosing one of six options, ranging from 'very good' to 'very poor'.

It is important that we understand the reasons for your answer, so please answer any follow-up questions. All responses are completely confidential and cannot be traced back to you. A member of your family or a friend is welcome to answer the questions if you are unable to.

Your feedback will provide valuable information to help us provide the best possible care to all of our patients.
