Work being completed on main entrance at University Hospital Lewisham
As part of our ongoing development work to improve access to our University Hospital Lewisham (UHL) site, we are temporarily closing the main entrance from today, Thursday 14 March.
This will allow us to remove the revolving door and replace it with a more accessible entrance. The work will be completed by 25 March when the new door will be operational.
The whole area will be hoarded off and there will be temporary signage in place to direct patients and visitors to the ED entrance for the duration of the work.
Our security colleagues will also be on hand to offer assistance to patients.
