Trust nurse features in moving video
A critical care nurse at the Trust features in a new video designed to attract young people to a career in nursing. Leena Panchal, Deputy Sister in Critical Care at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, appears in the video as part of the ‘We are the NHS’ campaign, in a partnership between the Department of health and Social Care and news website Unilad.
The video reunites Leena with Jim Whiting and his daughter Genna, who became seriously ill with sepsis earlier this year. The film captures the moving moment when Leena sees the family for the first time since Genna was discharged home.
