Travel disruption Friday 14 June
The Metropolitan Police have notified us of a planned demonstration by ‘Extinction Rebellion’ on Friday 14 June 7:30am–9:00am. This may affect your journey to our hospitals.
The demonstration is scheduled to take place at major junctions in Lewisham, Catford and Deptford.
The police believe the roads that may be targeted are:
1. Catford Road junction with Canadian Avenue (A205 South Circular) near Catford Bridge station and Lawrence House
2. Deptford Bridge junction with Brookmill Road (A2)
3. A20 outside Lewisham train station (A20)
The protest may have a significant effect on traffic. Please allow extra time for your journey.
