Temporary car park closure at Queen Elizabeth Hospital this weekend
The car park directly opposite the main entrance at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Eurocarparks) will be closed for essential maintenance and line painting on Saturday 8 February.
The car park will be closed from 6pm on Friday evening to allow the contractor to do all necessary preparation, and should reopen late Saturday afternoon.
All those wishing to park should use Car Parks 1 and 2. Car Park 1 is behind the bus standing area opposite Ranken House, and Car Park 2 is to the right of the vehicle entrance near the top of Stadium Road. An attendant will be on hand to assist visitors and direct them to the open car parks.
Patients and visitors who may wish to park at the hospital over the weekend may need to allow extra time to find a space, or walk a little further. Alternatively some may prefer to use public transport or make alternative arrangements to be dropped off.
