TeamLGT on BBC London News

We were excited to take centre stage on  BBC London News  at 6.30pm yesterday, highlighting how AI is transforming healthcare at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The feature highlighted our cutting-edge pharmacy technology including robotic dispensers and Omnicell automated cabinets, which are streamlining medicine management and freeing up our valuable nursing time.

Rachel Knight, Chief Pharmacist and Clinical Director,  explained how AI is improving stock control and patient care.  Zainab Hussain, Chief Clinical Digital Officer, shared our digital-first strategy and the positive impact it is having on colleague wellbeing and service quality.

Clare Wilkes, Director of Content, Creative and Engagement, said:  “I’m very proud that TeamLGT could represent London healthcare on such an important topic. This feature positions us as a progressive and innovative Trust, brilliantly represented by Zainab and Rachel.”

A big thank you to everyone involved. This is a huge moment for LGT, showing we are at the forefront of innovation in healthcare.
