Tackling bullying and harassment

We are carrying out work to make Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust a great place to work for all our staff.

Bullying is recognised as an issue across the NHS as a whole, and it’s a concern that our staff survey showed that 29 per cent of staff at this Trust reported problems with bullying and harassment, against a national average of 24 per cent. The Trust Board has commissioned an independent assessment to find out more from staff who have experienced problems and from those involved in handling these issues. This assessment has now been completed, and gives clear recommendations on what we need to differently to make the Trust a great place to work for everyone.
