Covid numbers are rising – please wear a mask in all clinical areas

The rate of Covid infections in our local communities is rising, and more of our patients are testing positive for Covid.

To keep everyone safe we are now asking all patients, staff and visitors to wear a facemask in all our clinical areas.

This includes:

  • Hospital wards and our emergency departments (A&E)
  • Outpatient clinics and waiting rooms
  • Consulting rooms and waiting areas in our community healthcare settings.

Mask dispensers are available at our main entrances. We understand that a few people may have a medical reason or special communication need that means they are unable to wear a face covering.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us to keep our patients, staff, visitors and our local communities safe.
