Health and care organisations across south east London have worked together to improve your care by connecting two successful electronic care record systems.

During this period of heavy snow and transport disruption, nurses on Safari children’s ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital have been sleeping in the hospital overnight to ensure they are there for their shifts in the morning. They stay in empty patient rooms or on the assessment unit – and will even sleep on trolleys if there aren’t any beds!

A new, dedicated £750,000 health facility that will help manage the demand for emergency services and winter pressures has been officially opened at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Greenwich.
