The infection prevention and control team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in Woolwich today (17 July 2019) showcased their work in reducing hospital inquired infections to experts in infection control from Japan, including the President of The Infection Control Support Association of Japan, Mr Eiji Doi.

The breast unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) has received a donation of £84,710 to fund a breast biopsy machine called the Brevera System. The money was donated by Brook Hospital Cancer Care Fund, which has been raising money for QEH for 31 years.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is trialling the award winning ‘Stroke Active’ a new stroke rehabilitation app designed to help stroke patients recover faster.
