Our response to the Donna Ockenden Maternity review
Today, the Donna Ockenden Maternity review was published. We fully acknowledge the findings and recommendations and will carefully review what they mean for maternity services at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
We are committed to listening to women and families, learning from their experiences, and taking action to improve the care we provide.
Working with our communities and Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnerships, we will continue to provide safe, personalised and inclusive maternity services.
We recognise the progress highlighted in our latest National Maternity Survey, but we know there is always more to do.
Our thoughts remain with all families affected by the issues raised in the review, and we will continue working with patients, families and colleagues to deliver the best possible care for every family.
