Notice: upcoming maintenance works on Stadium Road
There will be two upcoming essential maintenance projects taking place on Stadium Road, London SE18 4QH, where our Queen Elizabeth Hospital site is located. These works are not expected to have any major impact, but please note that they could cause minor delays to your journey into hospital:
Tarmac repair works, Monday 22 September 2025 through to Friday 3 October 2025
These works will be undertaken over 10 nights, during night-time and out-of-hours, Monday to Friday only. Stadium Road will remain open, however there will be traffic management systems (2 way lights) each night from 8pm to 5am until the works are completed.
Lighting maintenance works, Monday 29 September 2025 through to Friday 3 October 2025
These works will be undertaken during normal working hours, Monday to Friday. These improvements are being carried out to enhance road safety and improve lighting conditions for all road users. While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, some inconvenience may be experienced during this period.
During both of these works, entrances, exits and parking will be accessible as usual and walkways will be kept clear.
Specialised routes have been arranged for the repair material deliveries in and out of the site to minimise disruption to the local residents and businesses.
