New diagnostic services to commence at Queen Mary’s, Sidcup

From next Monday 21 July, the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that we will be operating out of Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup will start providing top-notch diagnostic scanning services twice a week, on Mondays and Tuesdays.
LGT patients are already booked in to be seen at Sidcup, which will provide MRI scanning 8am to 8pm and non-obstetric ultrasound (i.e. ultrasound not related to pregnancy) from 8am to 6pm – all on Monday and Tuesdays. Patients will enter the Sidcup CDC through a brand new entrance forged in the heart of the historic hospital, which also hosts services from our partners at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust.
We are pleased to begin this latest chapter in our CDC journey and, in line with the NHS Ten Year Plan, bring exceptional community healthcare closer to those patients who need it in and around Bexley borough. We’ll share more information about the future of our services in Sidcup as soon as we can.
