“Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a brilliant place to work”
Dr Alex George is full of praise for Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and the staff who work here. He took the time to record a YouTube message about returning to work at University Hospital Lewisham after appearing in Love Island.
Speaking at University Hospital Lewisham, Dr Alex George says: “I did my training here and had a brilliant time. I decided to stay on in A&E because quite frankly I really enjoyed it. It has really supportive staff: the nurses, the doctors, the occupational therapists, the physiotherapists – all the healthcare professionals. I absolutely loved staying here.”
After appearing on Love Island, Dr Alex George has come back to A&E part-time, and says he is “absolutely loving it”. He adds: “I would really recommend to anyone that wants to come and work for Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust to come and do it because it’s a brilliant place to work. I think you’ll have a great time, you’ll be well supported and I think you’ll enjoy.”
