Improvements to Trust car parks

The Trust is working with a new parking management firm (Wise Parking) to introduce upgraded parking payment machines to our car parks. To prepare for this, we are installing automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras, which capture vehicle movements and synchronise with the payment system.

The new machines will allow users to pay with cash, card, app or website, up to 48 hours after the event.

Payment by app is already possible at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (and is the only option in the old Euro Car Park – if you wish to pay with coins, please use the machines in car parks 1 or 2).

Blue Badge holders will be offered free parking in priority spaces for up to four hours but will need to register their car at main reception.

Signage explaining the new system, which is expected to go live in April, is already in place at both hospitals.

We will update the car parking pages on this website once the new payment system is fully up and running.
