Who is your Healthcare Hero?
As part of our annual staff awards, we are asking patients and the public to nominate their Healthcare Heroes at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust – staff who have gone the extra mile and made a positive difference to their care.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 22 November. Simply use the online form or email your story to lg.staffawards@nhs.net.
Last year’s winner was the oncology Suite 8 day patient team at University Hospital Lewisham. The team was nominated by a patient and her neighbours. The patient said: “I do not have the words to express my gratitude to this team, but I just want to say thank you for recognising that I am not just my illness and for genuinely treating me as a person. Thank you for listening to all my fears, and thank you for giving me hope.”
