Forever and Always 2024 - open to all

This year our Forever and Always event will be on Sunday 25 February 2024 at 3pm in the Old Naval College Chapel in Greenwich. This special service is a chance to remember adults in our local communities whose lives have touched us and who have died.

This event is open to all (of all religions and none) and is led by our Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care team.

Those who have attended previously will attest that Forever and Always is a deeply moving and ultimately uplifting event, where people can share in grief and meaningfully remember their loved ones. Music is an important part of the event, and this year we will not only be joined by our incredible Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir, but also by Paul Lee, acclaimed singer who performed ‘Stand By Me’ at the wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle.

As always, there will also be readings and acts of remembrance from both members of the public and colleagues who attend – and if you would like to get involved with the event yourself in any capacity, we’d love to have you. Please email Revd Dr Steve Thomas, Head of Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care, at steve.thomas12@nhs.net to discuss how you can get involved.

Please also feel free to download and share the event flyer with anyone who you think would appreciate and benefit from attending Forever and Always. We look forward to sharing more information closer to the time.
