EV charging points introduced at University Hospital Lewisham
We are pleased to announce the introduction of electric vehicle charging points at University Hospital Lewisham for both visitors and staff who drive electric vehicles.
This is an important step forward in supporting the Trust’s sustainability and green travel commitments.
As part of the initial rollout, two EV charging bays have been installed in the visitor car park, located next to the visitor payment machines. These facilities are available for public use and for Trust colleagues who have electric vehicles.
Visitors can use the charging points at a rate of £0.65 per kWh.
This is the first phase of rolling out electric vehicle charging points across the Trust, and we hope to extend this service to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and selected community sites in the future.
