Employees of the Month for June
Congratulations to the Training Admin and Conference Centre Team based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and University Hospital Lewisham (UHL) who have been chosen as our Employee of the Month winners for June.
The team was nominated by Alberta Ansong, Education and Development Co-ordinator and Digital Learning Lead who explained: “In addition to performing their jobs at an exceptional level, the team demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to our Trust and local communities. They are wonderful ambassadors in assisting staff with Education and Development queries, and welcoming users of the Owen Centre at UHL and Education Centre at QEH."
“The team worked extremely hard to support our colleagues during the pandemic. They liaised with colleagues and external organisations to ensure the wellbeing and hub volunteer rotas were filled, ordered refreshments, distributed donations including hot meals fairly, in addition to supporting the restaurant hubs and ward trolley rounds seven days a week. They went above and beyond to ensure the staff support project was successful."

Mandy Lochrane, Senior Education and Development Manager explained: “I am very proud and delighted that the team’s hard work and dedication to demonstrating Trust values in everything they do has been recognised with this very fitting award. The enthusiasm of each and every one of them contributes to this being a great place to work.”
