Emergency Services Charity Concert

For the first time ever, four of London’s emergency services are coming together in song at the Emergency Services Charity Concert, taking place this Saturday 17 May at the Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square.
In a special collaboration, the Blue Light Symphony Orchestra, London Fire Brigade Choir, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir, and the Metropolitan Police Choir will perform a powerful and uplifting programme in support of frontline workers and their families.
Caroline Smith, Lead of the LGT Choir, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled about the upcoming Emergency Services Charity Concert. It’s an honour to join forces with our amazing colleagues, and performing alongside the Blue Light Symphony Orchestra makes it even more special. We’d love for everyone to come along and share in what promises to be an unforgettable evening.”
Tom Cresswell, Secretary of the Metropolitan Police Choir, added: “We are super excited to collaborate with our colleagues in policing, fire and the NHS for the first time. This event has been a long time coming; first discussed pre-covid and now at last a reality! It will be a real honour to stand alongside other emergency services personnel and belt out a few joint pieces, including Zadok The Priest. Singing with the Blue Light Symphony Orchestra in accompaniment will be so special and a real milestone in the MPC’s history."
The concert isn’t just a musical celebration it’s also a fundraiser supporting key charities: The Ambulance Staff Charity, Care of Police Survivors (COPS), The Fire Fighters Charity, and the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity.
Expect a heartfelt afternoon of harmonious melodies, inspiring performances, refreshments, and a charity raffle, all in the surroundings of one of London’s most iconic churches.
