An interactive, practical session that takes place every Tuesday at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, from 6-8pm.

Sign up to our face-to-face workshop to prepare for breastfeeding your new baby. We recommend that you attend from 32-34 weeks pregnant and booking is essential if you wish to attend.

The workshop will be facilitated by one a member of our Infant Feeding team. We will talk through the benefits and practicalities of breastfeeding your new baby.

This workshop will benefit mother/birthing people (birth partners are also welcome) considering breastfeeding their first baby, as well as experienced mothers who may have had problems breastfeeding previously, or may never had breastfed before.

The workshop is most beneficial during the third trimester and allows plenty of time for practical tips and questions, giving you an in depth knowledge to support you on your breastfeeding journey and includes:

  • Skin to Skin, close and loving relationship
  • Tips to a successful breastfeeding journey
  • How to know your baby is getting enough milk
  • Positioning and attachment
  • Responsive feeding
  • Safe sleeping
  • Expressing.

Please book one ticket per person and we'd really appreciate it if you could cancel your places if you cant attend, so someone else can take your space.
