Breast cancer peer support group for patients

Breast cancer awareness month 22

Speaking with people who understand what you’re going through on your breast cancer journey can be important for many reasons. It can build hope and confidence, create social connections and enhance your overall feeling of wellbeing.

Our breast cancer peer support group for patients meets on the second Tuesday of every month.

The group is open to all of our patients who have been affected by breast cancer, whether you have been recently diagnosed or are now living beyond cancer. At the meetings you can:

  • Come together with others who have gone through similar experiences
  • Share your concerns
  • Get advice in a supportive environment.

 

When:

Second Tuesday of every month, dates below. Please arrive at 5.30pm - the session will begin at 5.45pm and end by 7.15pm

Where:

Macmillan Brook Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich
