Children from Safari and Tiger wards at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital have designed posters for a new hand washing competition campaign for Lewisham & Greenwich NHS trust. The posters will be displayed in the children’s wards across the trust.
The Trust had its biggest ever presence at Lewisham People’s Day on Saturday, as around 30,000 local people burst into Mountsfield’s Park for the borough’s largest annual event.
A Big Chinwag took place at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) on Friday, Matron Sue Brassington and the QEH Matron team organised the event part of Age UK’s campaign to help fight loneliness amongst older people.
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a new Trust formed on 1st October 2013.
The Trust is responsible for services at Lewisham Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich, as well as a range of NHS community services in Lewisham and some services at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
Services are not changing following the merger, and
patient appointments are unaffected.
