Queen Elizabeth Hospital Patient User Group

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Patient User Group is a voluntary organisation set up and run by a growing number of dedicated volunteers.

“If you have to spend time in hospital, or make visits to Outpatients, you want that experience to be the best it can possibly be. So do we!

The Patient User Group is a friendly team of volunteers working to make our hospital as good as it can be for everyone who uses its services. We go onto the wards and visit clinics to observe what is going on and talk to patients about their experiences. Our observations are passed to the Patient Experience Team who work with hospital staff to put in place any changes or improvements as a result of our observations, we can actually make a difference!

The team also attends various committees and discussions that take place in the hospital and acts as the patient voice.

If you want to make a difference too, please come and join us or if you require any further information get in touch on email: LG.PatientExperienceLGT@nhs.net
