Become a professional Phlebotomist
Senior Phlebotomists at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust are teaching a new Phlebotomy Training Programme.
You don’t need to have any previous qualifications to attend so the course is ideal for anyone wanting to change careers or set out on a new path.
Classes take place monthly and the course lasts for two days. One day covering theory (at University Hospital Lewisham) and a second day on practical aspects. On passing the course you will have a certificate of competency (practical) and a certificate of conclusion (theory).
These are qualifications recognised by the CPD Certification Service that would allow you to apply for roles and start a new career as a Phlebotomist.

Bookings will be taken at least two weeks in advance to allow time for DBS (Disclosure or Baring Service) checks and other admin.
