Covid-19: Cancer services updates
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to make some temporary changes to our cancer outpatient services and health and wellbeing support services.
Our visitor guidance was updated on 28 May 2021 to allow two named visitors for inpatients (one at a time; must prebook with the ward).
We have had to make changes to some of our outpatient services. This may mean we have had to cancel your appointment or offer you a virtual appointment instead, either by telephone or via Attend Anywhere, a secure video calling software. If you are required to come into the hospital for a face-to-face appointment, it is likely that you will be asked to attend alone. Please adhere to the hygiene and distancing advice, including regularly washing your hands and making use of the alcohol hand sanitisers.
Help and support during Covid-19
If you are an existing cancer patient and you have concerns about changes to your treatment or future follow up, please contact the Macmillan Advice and Guidance Service (MAGS). They will best advise you and direct any concerns or questions to your clinical team accordingly.
