Orthopaedics at Queen Elizabeth Hospital

We provide a wide range of elective orthopaedic surgery including hip, knee, foot and ankle surgery (Lower Limb) and also shoulder, elbow and hand/wrist surgery (Upper Limb).

This includes a wide management of arthritis of various joints, sports injuries and other related musculo-skeletal conditions. We offer a full range of joint replacement surgery of all of the joints including revision surgery, arthroscopic surgery, in addition to using advanced techniques to restore limb function. We do not offer a spinal surgery service but plan to set up soon a DGH based Paediatric Orthopaedic Service.

Patients are seen by senior doctors (Consultants & Associate Specialists) with specialist clinics for all the main joints mentioned above.

The T & O team aims to provide a high quality, rapid service to its patients. We ensure that the patients and their GPs are kept fully informed. We continually seek feedback from those who use the service to ensure that we are at all times fulfilling the patients' expectations.
